BACKGROUND:

The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) invites school students, parents and the local community to the 2009 Open Day. If you are interested in combining exceptional military and leadership training with an undergraduate degree from the University of New South Wales, or are after more information about joining the Australian Defence Force, you will find all the information you require at the ADFA Open Day.

If you are after a great family day out, then the ADFA Open Day is the event for you. Visitors can see a range of military activities, vehicles, aircraft, armoury and displays that will keep your cameras clicking and the family entertained throughout the day. ADFA Midshipmen and Officer Cadets will also demonstrate some of their training and will be available to speak to visitors about their military training and academic studies.
