This year's Salon Privé in London presents some of the world's most exclusive and desirable automobiles

Since its debut in 2006, London's Salon Privé has played host to automotive royalty from around the globe. The invitation-only affair takes place annually in a traditional English garden party setting, and this year's venue is the delicately manicured lawns of Syon House.

The three-day event showcases some of the world's most precious and impressive automotive metal and this year's event includes several cars from the pinnacle of the super sports car segment, including the new Lamborghini Aventador and Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

As well as the annual Concours d'Elégance, an RM auction of top-end cars is held for those with discerning tastes and deep pockets to match.

According to event co-founder, David Bagley, this year's event includes a number of UK debuts as well as many other very special vehicles.

"Guests can now actually drive some of the cars on the super car lawn and we now have a bespoke, quintessentially English RM Auction, truly adding to the interactivity," he said.

"2011 marks another influential change to Salon Privé and that lies under our beautiful new venue, Syon Park, which delivers more accessibility, space and indulgence."
